Using The Write Lesson's resources, along with the knowledge and insights from Belinda, my teaching skills in cursive handwriting have improved significantly. As a result, not only has my own understanding deepened, but my students' handwriting, as well as the content and quality of their writing, has also seen remarkable improvement. I am a strong advocate for explicitly teaching handwriting to children, particularly cursive handwriting. I have seen fabulous results from teaching year 3 and 4 children cursive handwriting every day for 10 minutes. Unfortunately, some teachers may lack the knowledge and confidence to teach cursive handwriting effectively, but these videos address that challenge.
